How do I become a member of the Breakaway program?
You can join at any Total Hockey retail store or you can purchase your
membership online at
www.totalhockey.net.
Who can join the Breakaway program?
The Breakaway membership is available to
U.S. residents at least 13 years of age.
Does it cost anything to
become a member?
Yes. Silver memberships are $9.99, Gold
memberships are $19.99 and Platinum memberships are $39.99.
What are bonus
points?
You earn instant bonus points just for becoming a
Breakaway Member. Silver
memberships offer 300 bonus points ($10 value); Gold memberships offer 900
bonus points ($30 value); and Platinum memberships offer 1,800 bonus
points ($60 value).
Can you upgrade a
membership?
Yes. Any Silver or Gold membership can be upgraded to a higher level.
We make it easy to upgrade your membership. Simply go to any Total
Hockey retail store or call our customer service desk toll-free at
1-866-929-6699 and tell them you wish to upgrade. The upgrade is simply
the price difference between the two levels and you receive the same
great advantages to a Gold or Platinum membership. For example, if you
upgrade from Silver to Platinum the upgrade will get you a 10% discount
on the upgrade order, an additional 1500 Breakaway Points, and all the
other benefits of Platinum Membership.
When does my membership
expire?
Membership lasts a lifetime. Membership do not expire and there are
no renewal fees.
How do I change my contact information?
Please call the Breakaway Member Services Department at 866.929.6699, stop
by any Total Hockey location or e-mail
breakaway@totalhockey.net.
How do I cancel my membership?
Breakaway Memberships never expire. However, if you wish to
cancel your membership you may do so by contacting:

Can you return a
Breakaway Membership?
No. All Breakaway Memberships sales are final and
non-refundable. Members may return any purchased merchandise within
the normal returns and exchange policy minus the cost of membership and
applicable rewards.
Will my membership information be shared with
other companies?
Total Hockey does not sell or rent your personal information to third
parties. For more information, please read our Privacy
Policy.
Why do you need my e-mail address?
Your e-mail address allows us to quickly notify you of your reward gift
certificates. Also, you will get instant access to exclusive member
only offers.
What do I do if I am
a Breakaway Live Member?
No worries. Your Member ID is still valid. For your
convenience all Breakaway Live members received a valid username and
password on www.totalhockey.net.
You can continue to enjoy the in store benefits of the Breakaway Program
or use the same information to shop online.

Where can I find my Member ID?
Your Member ID can be found on your membership card or by visiting
www.totalhockey.net, entering
your username and password, and clicking My Account.
What should I do if I lost my card?
You can still receive points for your purchases. Simply let the
cashier or customer service representative know that you are a Breakaway Member.
In turn, you may be asked a series of questions to verify your identity
so that we may accurately process your transaction so you receive points for your purchase.
POINTS
How do I earn points?
You earn 1 point for nearly every $1 you spend at Total Hockey. Simply
show your Breakaway membership card when you are making your in store
purchases or enter it online when you purchase from
www.totalhockey.net.
Can I earn points if I buy something at
totalhockey.net?
Yes! You can now earn points both in Total Hockey retail stores and
online at www.totalhockey.net.
Simply log in to your member account upon checkout and you will receive
points for your eligible purchases.
When can I begin to earn points?
You begin earning points once you purchase your Breakaway Membership card.
How
do I keep track of my points?
Go to www.totalhockey.net. Click
My Account. Log in with a valid user name and password. You can view
your history within one hour of your most recent purchase, see
outstanding points and print your Gift Rewards.
What's the difference between pending
and posted points?
Pending points have been allocated on recent eligible purchases, but are
not posted until they've been validated, which occurs approximately 15
days after your purchase date. What do I do if I think there is an error
in my points?
Contact the Breakaway Member Services Department at 866.929.6699, stop by
any Total Hockey location or e-mail:
breakaway@totalhockey.net.
Do my points expire?
Points do not expire unless you cancel your membership. Keep in mind that
Gift Rewards do expire 90 days after posting. See the expiration date on
each Reward.
What happens to my points when I return
an item?
The points you earned for that purchase will be deducted from your
account.
REWARD CERTIFICATES
What are reward certificates good toward?
Breakaway Gift Rewards can be used toward the purchase of nearly any
product, but excludes services (such as skate sharpening services). See
Program Rules for more details.
Can I save up my points for larger rewards?
Every time you earn 300 points, we'll automatically send you a $10 reward
certificate to use in stores. You may save certificates and put them
together for a larger purchase, but keep in mind that each reward
certificate has a 90-day expiration period from the date it was issued.
How long will it take to receive my reward
certificate?
Once you have earned a valid 300 points or greater you will be notified of
your reward gift rewards via e-mail within 15 days of the purchase or
you may go to www.totalhockey.net,
log in to My Account, check your reward status and/or print applicable
rewards.
Do reward certificates expire?
Yes. All reward gift certificates expire 90 days after posting.
What do I do if I lose my reward
certificate?
Lost, stolen or expired Gift Rewards cannot be replaced. However, if your
Gift Rewards are still valid and unused you may reprint by going to
www.totalhockey.net, log in to
My Account, click “Get Rewards” and print.
Can I redeem my reward certificates on
totalhockey.net?
Yes. Gift Rewards can be redeemed in stores and online. Simply input the
Rewards code at checkout for online purchases.
